§  संविधान के अनुच्छेद 263 के अंतर्गत केंद्र एवं राज्योँ के बीच समन्वय स्थापित करने के लिए राष्ट्रपति एक अन्तर्राज्यीय परिषद की स्थापना कर सकता है।

§  पहली बार जून, 1990 मेँ अन्तर्राज्यीय परिषद की स्थापना की गई, जिसकी पहली बैठक 10 अक्टूबर, 1990 को हुई थी।

§  इसके सदस्य होते हैं- प्रधानमंत्री तथा उनके द्वारा मनोनीत 6 कैबिनेट स्तर के मंत्री, सभी राज्य व संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के मुख्यमंत्री एवं संघ राज्य क्षेत्रोँ के प्रशासक।

राष्ट्रपति प्रणव मुखर्जी ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश में राष्ट्रपति शासन को 26 जनवरी को मंजूरी दे दी। जिससे अब अरुणाचल प्रदेश में राष्ट्रपति शासन लग गया है। राष्ट्रपति ने केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की सिफारिश मंजूर करते हुए इस प्रस्ताव पर हस्ताक्षर कर दिया।गौरतलब है कि राज्य में संवैधानिक संकट के मद्देनजर 24 जनवरी को केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाए जाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी मिली थी और उसके बाद मंत्रिमंडल का यह प्रस्ताव राष्ट्रपति के पास भेज दिया गया था। आपको बता दें कि अरुणाचल में कांग्रेस की सरकार थी।गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने 25 जनवरी को राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी से मुलाकात कर उन्हें राष्ट्रपति शासन लागू किए जाने की सिफारिश के कारण बताए थे।उल्लेखनीय है कि अरुणाचल में कांग्रेस के 47 में से 21 विधायकों ने डेप्युटी स्पीकर का समर्थन किया था। बीजेपी के 11 और 2 निर्दलीय विधायक भी डेप्युटी स्पीकर के समर्थन में आ गए। इसके बाद कांग्रेस अल्पमत में आ गई। दिसंबर में राज्यपाल जेपी राजखोवा ने सरकार की इच्छा के विरुद्ध विधानसभा सत्र को आगे बढ़ा दिया था। यह मामला भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट की 5 जजों वाली संवैधानिक पीठ के समक्ष लंबित है। -
