Explanation: Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) is the name of the revamped crop insurance scheme that was announced by the Union Govt. on the eve of harvest festivals across the country on 13 January. It will replace the National Agriculture Insurance Scheme (NAIS) and Modified National Agriculture Insurance Scheme (MNAIS).

In Jammu and Kashmir,its Himalayan,tributaries are :Zanskar,Dras,Gartang,Shyok,Shigar,Nubra,Gilgit,e.t.c.

·         Its most important tributaries, which join Indus at various places, are: Jhelum (725 km), Chenab (1800 km), Ravi (720 km), Beas (470 km) & Sutlej (1050 km).

1) केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री मनोहर पार्रिकर (Manohar Parrikar) ने देश के लिए रक्षा उपकरणों की खरीद में व्यापक नीतिगत परिवर्तन  की घोषणा जनवरी 2016 के दौरान की। एक महत्वपूर्ण नीतिगत परिवर्तन “डिज़ाइन्ड इन इण्डिया” (‘Designed in India’) मुहिम को लेकर है। इस सम्बन्ध में 2 सर्वप्रमुख घोषणाएं क्या की गई हैं? – स्वदेश में निर्मित रक्षा उपकरणों में लगने वाले कम से कम 40% कलपुर्जे भारतीय होने चाहिए और यदि डिज़ाइन भारतीय नहीं है तो कम से कम 60% कलपुर्जे भारतीय होने चाहिए
